Chicago Copywriter Paul Frisbie

Specialties

Entertainment and the Hospitality Industry
Frisbie worked in foodservice through high school and college.  In his twenties he owned and operated his own nightclubs, including a laundromat/saloon and a live music club.

Frisbie's extensive experience in the hospitality and entertainment industries enables him to communicate with those clients very easily — and to understand their needs.

Web Authoring

In addition to copywriting and creative projects, many of Paul Frisbie's clients retain him to build and maintain their web sites.
Frisbie currently manages and updates web sites for former Chicago Cub Ryne Sandberg, Home Star, Bahama Outfitters, Top Cat Productions, The Chicago Talent Center and Great Lakes Experiences.  In the early days of the Internet his personal web site was featured in the best-seller, Netmarketing.

Multimedia
Paul Frisbie has edited and produced comedy CDs, DVD demos and simple promotional videos.  He is comfortable with basic digital audio and video editing, DVD-authoring and CD production.

Humor
Paul Frisbie moonlights as a headlining comedian, and has appeared all across the US and in several foreign countries.  Most of his comedy work is with corporate clients these days, but he still books occasional shows with casinos, cruise ships and major clubs like Zanies' and the Improv.
Frisbie was profiled in the The  Chicago Tribune Magazine when the newspaper sent a writer and photographer on the road with him to get an inside look at the comedy business.

When it’s called for, Frisbie’s unique parallel career enables him to bring on-target humor to appropriate situations.
